6:00 – 8:00 PM – Hyatt House Chicago/Evanston Hotel - Meet and Greet Welcome Reception (Salad/Pasta/Dessert - Cash Bar)

14 October – Tuesday

9:00 AM – Bus departs Hyatt House for Adler Planetarium

10:00 AM – Adler Planetarium – Box Lunch

Special program with Dr. Katie Boyce-Jacino, Curator and Director of Collections to see Star Gazer’s Pavillion, and time keeping devices in storage.  Collections information is here.

1:15 PM – Optional Planet 9 Movie - The hunt for a potential large planet beyond the orbit of Neptune.

2:15 PM – Bus departs Adler Planetarium for Private Collection Viewing

4:30 PM – Bus transit to Pier One on Chicago’s lakefront for a Dinner Cruise

5:00 – 8:00 PM – Chicago Dinner Cruise (Cash Bar)

8:30 PM – Bus returns to Hyatt House

15 October – Wednesday

8:30 AM – 4:00 PM -Halim Time and Glass Museum – Lectures, Exhibit Viewing – Lunch and afternoon snack

4:00 – 6:15 PM – Self-tour Museum and/or Break

6:15 – 9:00 PM – Halim Time and Glass Museum - Dinner Banquet

16 October – Thursday

8:00 AM – Bus departs Hyatt House to Elgin History Museum

9:00 AM – Elgin History Museum - Elgin National Watch Company - Watch specialist Bill Briska highlights the history of the famous Elgin National Watch Company.  Self-tour museum and lunch

12:15 PM - Bus departs Elgin History Museum for the Sanfilippo Estate

1:00 PM – Sanfilippo Estate – A private estate located in Barrington Hills, featuring the World's finest collection of automatic music instruments.  We have a 3-hour tour sharing the story of the family and Collection, demonstrations of a variety of music machines, a mini-concert on the Mighty Wurlitzer and the history of the items in the Carousel Pavilion.

4:00 – 5:30 PM – Bus departs to return to Hyatt House Hotel - Symposium Ends
